Dr. Gustavo Marks is a General Surgeon, Family practitioner and Aesthetic Medical Doctor specializing in Cosmetic Medicine which includes liposuction, fat grafting to buttocks, fat grafting to the breast for natural augmentation, varicose vein treatment, facial rejuvenation with Botox, facial fillers (Restylane, Juviderm, Radiasse and Voluma), chemical peels and platelet rich plasma.
Education
In 1986 he graduated magna cum laude from national University of Buenos Aires (UBA)—the finest School of Medicine in Argentina, and in 1989 he completed his General Surgery Residency Program certified by Ministry of Health. At the age of 27 he was a General Surgeon.
Career
In spite of a successful career in Argentina, in 1993 Dr. Marks decided to migrate to the U.S. He completed his Residency Program at Temple University, School of Medicine where he became a Chief Resident in 1996. But his future was in California, where he arrived in 1997 and after six months as a Family Physician at the North Torrance Medical Center, he went on to the West Family Medical Center in Culver City, offering his professional cares as Family Physician for more than 5 years.
Dr Marks opened his own clinic in 2003 and established an Aesthetic and Cosmetic practice. With extensive training in liposuction and fat transfer he also perfected techniques in cosmetic facial procedures, specifically Botox and fillers.
